I would be very happy to confide in you that I worked in the year 2000 in the movie "Captain Corelli's Mandolin" for 4 months as a production assistant and a few days as an assistant actor (extra) and I appear next to super star actor Christian Bale!
In fact, my parents, shown in the picture with world class actress Penelope Cruz, also had the fun time of their lives working as assistant actors in the movie that made our island of Kefalonia famous all around the world! My father, in fact, spoke as an actor in the movie and with my mother worked for a time span of 3 months!
A "souvenir" that I own with pride is actor John Hurt's cricket set that was given to me when the movie production was in its final days.
I also had the honor of attending the movie's premier in Athens in September 2001 where dignitaries like the movie's stars and the former Prime Minister of Greece Konstantine Mitsotakis attended!
Finally, all these past decades I have, on a volunteer basis, been writing and promoting news concerning "Captain Corelli's Mandolin" and its stars on local and national mass media!
