As Director Giorgos Gousis says Kefalonia's beautiful scenery inspired him to make his new road movie while on holiday on Kefalonia!
"Magnetic Fields" Director Giorgos Gousis also says that his desire to make a film on Kefalonia was greatly assisted by his Kefalonian friend Marinos Sklavounakis. Marinos Sklavounakis (the production manager of the film) provided him with much needed hospitality and was his guide around the various locations on the island that eventually become locations for the film.
Now, their award winning film is Greece's official choice as its 2023 Oscar (Academy Awards) nominee for the Best Foreign Language Film Category!
