Unfortunately, due to the sudden loss of the beloved 50-year-old resident of our Poros, new announcements have been issued that urgently move the scheduled dance event in honour of Greek-Serbian friendship from Poros to Skala tonight.
Here follows the relevant announcement by the President of the Cultural Association of Poros, Kefalonia “O Pronisos”, Aspasia Seriatou:
With deep sorrow and respect, the Cultural Association of Poros “O Pronisos” informs you that it is cancelling the scheduled event with the dance group from Serbia due to mourning for the loss of a young man who had become a friend and was dear to our association.
In such moments, joy and celebration take second place…

According to a second announcement by the Women’s Cultural Association of Skala “Penelope”, which follows, the event with the Serbian dancers is being moved to Skala Square tonight at 19:00:
We would like to inform you that the event scheduled for 2 October in Poros, in collaboration with the Cultural Association “PRONISOS” and the Serbian dance group “AMBRASEVIC”, will not take place at the originally planned venue in Poros Square, due to unforeseen circumstances.
The event is being relocated and will take place in Skala Square on the same day and time, at 19:00.
We look forward to welcoming you all to enjoy a lovely evening full of music, culture and beautiful moments.
We warmly thank the president Mr Georgios Travlos as well as the Women’s Cultural Association Penelope for their support and immediate response regarding the change of venue.
